Tammy’s passion to help animals and people heal through alternative
methods has evolved throughout her life and personal experiences. As with
many people, the first unconditional love she experienced was from her
first four-legged companion. From that moment, she always had a strong
connection to animals and has learned so much from them over the years.
One of the most important things she learned is that they were frequently
mirroring her health. This reflection began a search to find ways to heal
herself first.
Her first appointment with an Energy Therapist was one of the most memorable
moments of her life. As she got up from the table she looked at her therapist
and said spontaneously, “I want to do what you do”. It was
that clear.
She then embraced the courage to make healing herself the number one priority
for many years. “Heal yourself and you’ll heal your life and
those around you” became her mantra. Prior to this healing journey,
Tammy was averaging one surgery a year, along with many cancer scares,
infections, heart problems, asthma, allergies etc. Currently, she hasn’t
had as much as a cold since the year 2000.
She then trained over a 15-month period at the Center of Integrative Therapy
to be certified as an Energy Therapist Levels I and II. While initially
Tammy only worked on people, she knew animals were also going to be clients
and began transferring her extensive training to her friends’ animal
companions. Then Tammy trained under Silvia Hartmann, world-renowned animal
healer in the UK, to receive her certificate as an Animal Energy Therapist.
In addition, she attended Carol Komitor’s Healing Touch for Animals
training program. Tammy is also an Ordained Minister through the Universal
Brotherhood Movement, Inc. She will always continue to strive to bring
her clients the best possible session for them and/or their animal companions
by engaging in a consistent learning program.
In 2004 she founded the Animal Healing Ministry at the Unity Church she
attends and donates up to 20 hrs weekly on behalf of the congregants and
their animal companions. The AHM gives all of their profits to local no
kill animal shelters. Tammy is also a key member of the IAATH (International
Alliance for Animal Therapy and Healing) and donates session to several
no kill animal shelters in the Atlanta metro area.
She is dedicated to raising the consciousness and awareness of alternative
health options for animals and people in addition to helping to create
healthy, intuitive relationships with their animal companions.
