A special word about Tammy Billups,
I had the honor of being in a long-term relationship with a very lovable cuddly Rottweiler named Zeus who was my companion for 12 wonderful years. As our brisk hikes on the trails, became strolls down the neighbor hood streets, his movements became labored and the road trips for mint chocolate chip ice cream treats were only a temporary fix to lift his spirits.
I knew it was time for us to look into an alternative method for him to receive extra comfort in addition to his geriatric cushioned bed and his favorite oriental rug. It was then I met Tammy Billups, what an angel she proved to be for my dog Zeus. I told her what had been happening with my friend and asked if it was too late for him to get any benefit from her energy sessions. "No" was her reply, "it was not too late". So I had a heart to heart talk with Zeus the next day before the session began... It went something like this; in the stillness of my mediation room we sat calmly waiting for our phone call from Tammy, the call came and I was instructed to watch any subtle differences in him that may take place in the next 30 to 40 minutes.
There was nothing unusual about his usual big stretch, head plunk to the floor and a big deep sigh just like any other time he drifts off to sleep, however this time was much different indeed. As he lay there he began to rub on his muzzle with his front paws like something was ticking it. That shortly subsided and as I continued to observe him he started that thing that dogs do in their sleep, you know "chasin' bunnies in the field" paws twitching, and breathing fast. When that passed he took on a beautiful glowing calm, and relaxed into the deep healing he was receiving through Tammy.
The time flew by and just before Tammy's phone call rang to check in with us, Zeus popped awaked, gave it one of those long stretches and sat straight up, almost grinning at me. As I picked up Tammy's call I recounted to her what I saw and she in turn gave me her intuitive connected impressions. We agreed together that he was in a lot of pain but by golly he was bound and determined not to tell ME about it. However he couldn't pull the wool over Tammy's "knowing eyes".
Over the next month he showed a marked improvement from her session and I was grateful to her that he received that much needed release.
Tammy was the angel who allowed him to step up to his next roll in life. I am ever grateful for the love of service Tammy provides to those friends we call pets, they give to us the greatest love and through Tammy I was able to give some of it back.
